USAGE

The test equipment does salt fog :corrosion test for coating of paint, cladding of manufactured product, etc. It complies with GB/T2423.17 GB/T1771-1991,ISO9227 Standards.It provides the best possible laboratory simulation of natural corrosion. Specimens can be exposed to a series of different environments in a repetitive cycle that reproduces outdoor cyclic conditions. It also offers state-of-the-art corrosion testing technology, precision dispersion and ease of operation - all at a remarkably low price.

Salt Fog Cabinet can cycle through three functions: Fog, Dry-Off, and Humidity. Simple tests may consist of cycling between two conditions: Fog and Dry. However, more sophisticated procedures, such as automotive, call for multi-step cycles incorporating humidity or condensation, along with salt fog and dry-off. It is available in model SSP for prohesion or conventional salt spray, and model CCT for corrosion research and cyclic automotive tests.  

Fog Cabinet features a custom controller that allows the operator to easily program complex tests or any range or pre-programmed procedures. The built-in self diagnostics warn the operator when to perform routine maintenance or to check for operation faults.
